Since purchasing the inn in 2010, Julie Lynn and Mike Wood’s leadership has been influential in so many ways. From the INNdulgence Tour to the Honey Festival and the Inn to Inn Walking Tours, their creativity, community spirit, and deep care and passion have a profound impact.
The Honey Festival is a must-attend event! This sweet event brings together locals and visitors alike to celebrate the wonders of honey and beekeeping. With tastings, workshops, and family-friendly activities, it’s a festival that truly sticks in your memory.

Additionally, Golden Stage Inn hosts the INNdulgence Tour each year. This year, there are 9 inns participating from all throughout the region on December 7 and 8. It’s an invitation to explore the region’s finest festive historic, cozy, and elegant inns while also enjoying INNdulgent treats. It also offers a unique opportunity to give back as ticket sales go to the Vermont Foodbank.
When Innkeepers Julie and Mike were asked, what sets Golden Stage Inn apart, so many of their favorites came to mind.
They shared, “Complimentary homemade soups throughout the winter. No, the poolside honey ginger lemonade made with honey from our own hives in the summer. No, not food, but the authentic, friendly welcome provided by innkeepers and staff. Wait no! The charming guest rooms, with luxurious bed linens, and clean updated bathrooms. Hm… Just having a hard time answering this one.”
